Slieve Bloom Walking Festival 2026
Celebrating 30 Years of Walking Adventures!
Join the Slieve Bloom Walking Club as we celebrate our 30th year with a fantastic weekend of guided walks through the stunning landscapes of the Slieve Bloom Mountains. Taking place from Saturday, 2nd May to Monday, 4th May, the festival offers something for everyone - from woodland trails and riverside strolls to more challenging hikes across gentle rolling hills.
Our experienced walk leaders will guide you through the routes, sharing stories about local history, geology, and the area’s unique flora and fauna along the way.
Walk options include A, B, and C grade walks on both Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, we offer a Grade A 12km walk, which will take approximately 4 hours to complete.
